Golf Classic
The Warrior Golf Classic is an annual charity fundraising golf tournament that benefits SOF Missions. We provide restorative whole health medical care to veterans and military service members. SOF Missions
Be Resilient Program
SOF Missions combats the suicide epidemic by providing restorative whole health medical care to veterans and military service members. The SOF Missions’ Be Resilient Clinics are 1-week medical intensives that bring together 10 veterans and approx. 20 healthcare providers in an intradisciplinary approach with a focus on psychological, physical, social, and spiritual treatments. Providers assess, treat, and work to overcome challenges of military service such as PTSD, mild traumatic brain injury, chronic/acute pain, sleep issues, isolation, stress, and moral injury. After the clinic, veterans receive follow on care for up to a year, with 30, 60, 90-day and 6-month check-ups with our medical team. This care is provided at no cost to the veteran.
Over 20 Veterans commit suicide everyday, we will fight until that number is 0.
SOF Missions was established in 2011 as a non-profit 501c3 organization by Dr. Damon and Dayna Friedman. Damon, a retired Lt Colonel, within the Special Operations community, served for 20 years. He knows firsthand the challenges warriors face, having served on four combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. SOF Missions believes we are called to be Freedom Fighters. Our mission is to combat the veteran suicide crisis.
Saddlebrook Resort & Golf Club
The centerpiece of Saddlebrook’s golf experience is designed by legendary architect Rees Jones, crafted to challenge seasoned players while welcoming those still perfecting their game. Home to 27 scenic holes woven seamlessly through of rolling terrain and preserved nature, the courses feature wide fairways framed by towering cypress, pines, and palms, with water hazards and strategically placed bunkers demanding both strategy and precision. With undulating greens and breathtaking Florida landscapes, every round offers a fresh test of skill and a memorable escape.
