September 13, 2024

The SOF Missions 8th Annual Emerald Coast Gala is a night to come together and show support for our military veterans and active-duty community.

SOF Missions’ goal is to collectively heal warriors who are struggling with the visible and invisible scars of war. Individuals and businesses have the unique opportunity to come alongside individual warriors and sponsor them through our whole health intradisciplinary model called Be Resilient Program.

The evening includes warrior success stories, a special program presentation, a guest speaker, and a silent auction.

John Arroyo, a former U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, survived being shot in the throat during the 2014 Fort Hood shooting. His story includes a transformation from a troubled youth involved in gangs and drugs to a decorated officer who served multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION

SOF Missions offers a unique approach to combating the problem of veteran suicide. We provide care through a whole health intradisciplinary method – The Be Resilient Clinic, which is a four-pillar program that addresses the areas of psychological, physical, spiritual, and social wellness.

The Be Resilient Clinic is for military members and veterans struggling to overcome the challenges of military service and combat. We bring together providers from psychological, social, spiritual, and physical domains to assess and treat overcome challenges of military service and combat such as PTSD, chronic/acute pain, sleep issues, isolation, stress, and moral injury.

Addressing the suicide epidemic within our veteran and active-duty community requires an intradisciplinary whole health approach in order to effectively overcome struggles and live a life of wellness.
